The curvy Georgia peach, Grande’ Beauty is a spoken word artist hailing from Columbus, Georgia. She is dubbed the Sultry Poetess and once you have heard her speak, you will know exactly how she earned that title. Her sound is a blend of spoken word and neo soul with a deep sensual tone. Her first recording, “Memoirs of a Sultry Poetess” (2013) is still the talk of the town.
Grande’ Beauty holds the title of Spoken Word Artist of the year in her hometown of Columbus for 2013 and 2016. She has graced stages across Georgia, and has even been in stage monologues to include, “Fat Girl Diaries” and “Pretty Hurts” by Learical Jonez. In addition, she has also starred in the movie production “Plus Size Divas “, by Sylvia Wilson.
Grande’ has shared stages with some heavy hitters in the poetry world like Georgia Me, Queen Sheba, Red Storm, and Tommy Bottoms just to name a few. She is a contributing writer for an Atlanta, GA based Model Call Magazine in the “Poetry Corner”. Grande’ has been an opening act for American Idol’s season twelve winner Candice Glover and George Tandy Jr. Her sophomore album “Evolve” was released January 2015 and she is currently working on her third poetry/spoken word recording.
